22:03:56 efried (Thing is, I don't know how that call can get EINVAL. Different errors occur if, e.g., the fileno is bogus, or the file is closed, or anything else I can come up with.)

00:33:32 mriedem superdan: your favorite question on a friday night at 5:30 - we don't ever delete InstanceMapping records do we? because if we did, you couldn't get details on a soft deleted instance from the cell - in the instances.deleted != 0 sense
