09:59:46 jsheeren hi, i'm currently seeing something strange with mitaka nova-api
10:00:26 jsheeren openstack compute service list shows me the compute services, at random one is marked down. if i repeat it after a few minutes, the same one is marked up again
10:01:21 jsheeren in the nova api log i see the requests coming in, 2 times with GET /v2.1/1bcce578589e46b4b0221f11d0fbe042/os-hypervisors/<hostname>, which return a 404, then once with the id of the compute host, which returns a 200

00:17:51 wally i have install the placement api endpoint and configure it, but in my compute node, in the nova-compute.log said The placement API endpoint not found. Placement is optional in Newton, but required in Ocata. Please enable the placement service before upgrading
