I received this message from the postmaster;
hotmail_ee10c2d6b435c47a@live.com; in the name of; Eurico Chagas-Filho [echagas.ez@terra.com.br]
Send: Tue 28/08/2012 06:52 at this time I had everything turned off
To: a bunch of yahoo addresses...
and this address
http://www.colterandco.com/%23/wp-content/themes/stackstheme/medwert.html
I checked till %23, some housing thing.
I guess they captured my address and are using it, or I got a virus in my computer.
But it doesn't make sense. Why send from an address and then use my name ?
Does anybody knows something ?
TIA, E.

The spammers peobably just captured your address. By using an
"innocent" From address, they can bypass some spam filters.

That means you're pumping out spam out of their server.
Combofix was the only program that made a spam bot go away off of my computer.

Just a warming, that I neglected to say before, combofix sometimes messes up scanner drivers, so just a heads-up.
You should be able to just either do it under services in computer administration, or just right click the icon in the tray and disable it.

ComboFix worked smoothly and quarantine some .dat and .vir files.
I think that hotmail+messenger were hacked, because several of my

You know age is a bitch, I deleted the All Users folder to the

Warning! Combofix is very dangerous and should not be used routinely. You
must make an image of your hard drive before proceeding in case something
goes wrong. I use Acronis to make drive images. It is an excellent and
reliable product.
Combofix only works on Windows XP. I haven't found any upgrades to work with
Vista or Windows 7.

I have repaired 4 or 5 Windows 7 systems now using combofix with no problems as long as you download the update as Eurico said.

Warning! Combofix is very dangerous and should not be used routinely. You must make an image of your hard drive before proceeding in case something goes wrong. I use Acronis to make drive images. It is an excellent and reliable product.
Combofix only works on Windows XP. I haven't found any upgrades to work with Vista or Windows 7.

ComboFix worked smoothly and quarantine some .dat and .vir files.
I think that hotmail+messenger were hacked, because several of my
friends had the same problem.
You know age is a bitch, I deleted the All Users folder to the
Recycle Bin. Best part of my day restoring it.
