Well, since I posted the announcement of this list last night, we're
up to 25 subscribers already! So I thought I should at least send
something out so that you know that things are working.
To post messages, send them to "profox@leafe.com". You do not have
to send them from the email address for your subscription, but if you do
post from another account, please at least include your name somewhere in
the message so that we all know who you are.
And lastly, please don't automatically give up on the FoxShare list.
Things will be up in the air for a while there, as Darcy converts to a
web-only posting system, but I intend on continuing on that list, too, as
there undoubtedly will be interesting material on both lists. I think
that there is plenty of room for another Fox resource!

Have you thought about having all message subjects start with a unique 2,3,
or 4 char string similar to (but different than) "[fs]"? It was/is a great
idea, helps us organize our inbox.
TIA, Steve Graves
Steve,
That is a good idea, but can your email client do something like:
If To: Or CC: contains profox@leafe.com, Move to <SomeFolder>

I agree with Ed. Let the server do server stuff (get the content tous)
and let the client do the client stuff (sort it all out). I wasannoyed
with every FS message (and the signature too).
Thanks Ed for starting this!

Unfortunately not. I'm forced to use this very limited AOLproprietary
system for awhile longer. There are _many_ functions it lackscompared to
most others I've used.
--- Steve
On my (very limited functionality) proprietary e-mail client which Iam
forced to use at least for awhile longer, the 'from' address is theperson
who submitted or replies to a message thread just like he/she hadsent the
message directly to me. If I can't tell from the subject line, it'snot
until I open the message that I find it came from Foxshare, forexample.
I shouldn't be using this much longer, it was just a suggestion, butunless
many people were for it, don't do it.
Thanks, the forum and the content is what's important, not the tagline

When you click on "Reply", does it address the message to theperson
in the From: address, or does it address it to the list? If so, doesthis
email client have any sort of configurable filtering capabilities? I
haven't used the AOL client for a long time, so I'm really not allthat
familiar with it.
