22:41:21 tasker hello! I've stumbled upon volumes maintaining a record for their attachment after the instance was deleted. I found https://review.openstack.org/184537/ and https://review.openstack.org/260339/ both of which look to have been abandoned.
22:41:49 tasker though, I'm still working on Mitaka ( upgrades are coming, I promise ) .. is there a way to take care of the attachments that doesn't involve editing the database by hand?

15:36:33 mnaser alright i've been diving through the code most of the day with no success.
15:37:22 mnaser why would changing the transport_url + oslo_messaging/ssl=true to all services and restarting them result in things getting stuck (ex: instances stuck in DELETING, or BUILD/scheduling) ... rabbitmq shows that the services are successfully connecting
15:37:35 mnaser nova-scheduler shows that it is getting updates/syncs from compute nodes, computes are all listed as up in services
