Ok I understand, not really, that Microsoft controls program files because

of a few million very stupid people. It annoys me that an owner cannot have

control of his/her own machine but that's the way it is.

So.... I put my data in what would appear to be the data place. ProgramData.

And guess what, some people do not have enough rights to that either for VFP

data. Unless they make themselves admin. So thinking on what a few have said

here, I thought of using c:/company_name/program_name. But it seems that

even that may not have correct rights either. Ok not really a question, more

a sound off. It's like windows has become impossible to use thanks to the

stupid. Maybe on windows install they should ask "are you a stupid git that

downloads movies and goes to porn site" or "can we let you have control of

your own pc". Moan moan....

Got that off my chest.
