Back in high school I had a neighbor that was a field tech for
Burroughs... people would be really nosy with all the tools and gizmos
he had laid out on the desk and he got tired of them messing with
things when he stepped away...
He told me that he resorted to first day at a place charging up some
big shiny capacitor and left it sitting in plain sight when he went
off to lunch... said it never failed that it was discharged when he
got back, but no one messed with his stuff the rest of the time he was
there...
