OK, I am playing. I disconnected everything but the boot drive.
1. All of the "mount point" folders are still in /media/ -- should I
delete (or rename) them? A GUI disk utility says that the mount point
of the remaining drive is ./ -- does that make sense? There is a SDA1
folder in there.
2. Ditto the device files (or whatever the heck they are) in /dev/ --
sda1 seems to be the boot drive partition and sda5 seems to be the
swap partition. Can/should I delete or rename the others?
I feel like I am treading on dangerous ground.
