I see many posts about google tailoring results based on those that result in the highest income for google. Many of the
hits that I get with http://duckduckgo.com won't even come up on google no matter how much I change the search. For
example, I read a lot of things on cms.gov, www.nhicmedicare.com and other Medicare contractors. Google obviously does
not make any money from those searches and clicks.

Looks nice -- Stupidly, I didn't know that Googlemonster was tailoring
your search results based on what it *thinks* you want. (Bogus, though
I understand what they are trying to do, having personally been trying
to read users' minds for the last 25 years. [that is if the phrase
"users' minds" is not self-contradictory<g>].)

FWIW, I started noticing several months ago that if I searched for
certain products using Google that I would start seeing ads when using
Google the next time for that item a short time later (from minutes to
hours) and that would continue for several days. I don't think this is a
big secret...Google grooms the responses you get.
