I had a request from a PC guy. He said that he is getting a lot of
requests to transfer programs from older computers to new computers,
like XP to Windows7. The program will work fine on Windows7 and they
have the keys and all that, but no installation disks and they are not
available for download or the company is no longer in business.
The question is, is there a way to transfer a program and its
appropriate registry data from one computer to another? There are some
that say they do it, but are not reliable.
TIA
