Yes,

We do qtys of that now. In particular, we had allot of reports directly

printed to HP laserjet 5si that were in PCL format, printed, packaged,

mailed and sent to customers...

We have now converted all reports to PDF format, and hosted them on a

download page from our web site.. I am doing my part to save a _ton_ of

trees <smile>...

I use PCL2PDF.EXE tool from the following address. I programmatically

control the creation of the reports within a VFP framework - data driven

process. We make about 25 new books/reports a day (each book can be about

500k) with this tool...

Nice thing about this tool - it doesn't care what you pass to it, I have

passed .TXT files and it converts to PDF. Also, certain BMPs will convert to

PCL...

Subject: VFP and Acrobat

Hey guys,

Any of you have any experience creating documents in VFP? We're

currently serving up web pages for users to print, but we'd like to

incorporate Acrobat into the site to be able to send the users PDFs

instead.
