The most delicious irony of it all is this.
For decades the Dems have lived by the sword of identity politics. Now they
get to feel its bitter edge for a season.
Why, to say what he said today about a woman candidate would have been rank
sexism if a Republican had uttered it! Nor were his "code words for bitch"
limited to a pig reference---he also talked about stinky fish still stinking
after it's been wrapped in newspaper. We ALL know what he REALLY meant......
Oh, we know he said it in the context of criticizing their reform
credentials. Just like we know that Trent Lott said nice things about Strom
Thurmond in the context of the old fart's birthday party.
Meanwhile the NY gov is saying that merely criticizing the Obamessiah's
"community organizer" resume filler is a kind of racist code word because,
apparently, only blacks are community organizers. I didn't know that, but
whatever. I thought there were lots of white radicals who admired Saul
Alinsky too, but I guess he'd know better. And Biden is claiming, absurdly,
that Palin would be a step back for women. A growing percentage of women
disagree--but what do they know? Biden has a MUCH higher IQ than they do,
obviously.
This is just too funny. Sad, but funny anyway.
