Gee, if you are correct about the Geneva convention responsibility then

the US can't just up and quite Afghanistan or Iraq. I wonder if the

liberals in our country have taken that into consideration?

Geneva convention which the US is a signatory to says that if you go and

screw up a country in war you have to look after it and get it to a

stable position afterwards, hence the rebuilding of Germany and Japan

after WWII.

So what McCain is saying is basically... The coalition did this in

Afghanistan but everyone else should help pay for it to be cleared

up....

Just heard this. Well I know that the U.S. would probably bear the most

burden on this measure, given the history in Iraq for sure.

Tell me: why must non-Afghan's pay for the increase of Afghanistan's=20

army to 160,000 (instead of the current 80,000)? To my knowledge, no=20

one pays for our army? Let's send food and health aid, but that's where

the dollars should stop, imo.
