Floating multiple memos in report page footer

VFP 8.

Client has a report with two memo fields, one placed vertically under

the other, in a page footer.

Page Footer "Constant Band Height" is unchecked.

Top memo is "Fix relative to top of band" and "Stretch with overflow"

Bottom memo is "Float" and "Stretch with overflow"

When the second is located under the first, vertically, the last line

of the second memo is cut off. When moved so each take up half the

width, the second memo starts at the second line of the first, and is

not cut off. Adding a CHR(13)+CHR(10) to the second memo has no

effect.

Simple code to reproduce:

CREATE TABLE testtext (mtext M)

INSERT INTO testtext VALUES ("Four score and seven years ago, our

fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation"+;

", conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men

are created equal.")

CREATE REPORT testtext

Place the two memos (both referring to mtext) in the footer and play

around with it. Ideas welcomed.
