Safeware's pretty well-known; they've been in the business for years and

have deals with ACM, ICCP and some of the other professional organizations.

If you have apartment renter's, home owner's or automobile insurance, you

may want to check with your agent to find out if it is cheaper to include

your professional materials on a rider for those policies. I maintain a home

office, and have liability and equipment insurance riders to cover most

risks.

a company that insures laptops (and other electronics

for that matter).

The site quoted me $78.00 per year for a $1300 laptop.

When you get a quote, they tell you what's covered

and what's not. I haven't decided whether it's worth it

or not.
