Hi all

The printer I have a problem is a HP LJ4050. Evidently the same thing =

also happens on a Brother HL1260. Both are fairly recent laser printers =

so would expect Arial to be a standard font?

Would expect this problem with different printers due margins and so on, =

according to customer's network chap they have installed the same =

printer driver onto all the machines.

I suppose the next step would be to create a report that prints A-Z and =

1-9 over and over in different fonts and see whether certain fonts line =

up. The report does not need to be Arial it just looks nice.

Is there anything else I can do to make this work?

Regards

Graham

<snipped>

What I have is an invoice form which prints onto Sage stationery, lines =

up perfectly on one pc but not on all the rest. I went out to the client =

to actually look at this myself just in case it as operator error and =

got the same. The pc that works is running 2k Pro, the ones that don't =

are a mix of 98 and Millennium.

ps Thanks for the replies about Win95, that is a big relief!!
