I notice that the rejected email address seems to have an extra

double quote. Could that have inadvertantly gotten pasted into theemail

address? Try posting again; a test message is fine.

Tasteing Tasteing.

Looks like you are right. The extra quote is causing problems. Ijust

clicked on the e-mail address in your welcome message. Somehow itadded an

extra quote to the end.

How does it taste? Not too bitter, I hope. ;-)

Dunno how that happened. Glad it's straightened out!

Sorry to hear that the purges continue over there. But please don't

let that experience keep you from posting on this list. There are no such

punitive limitations on expressing your thoughts here. And isn't it amazing

that chatter-type discussions here have run their course in a day or so,

with no rules or threats involved. Goes to show that this is a pretty

intelligent and responsible group (despite appearances at Devcon and other

conferences!) ;-)

Darcy is now trying to explain to me why there are people being kicked off

Foxshare... What a crock of ^&*%$..

Their server was sending out rejected e-mails to the entire list and then

more, since it was trying to send the rejected messages to rejected e-mail

sites... What a crock..

Hey! We're not picky: we'll take practically any post!

>arguing with Adolph over the garagabe e-mails that their server was sending

Welcome to the Dark Side! Nice here in the shade, isn't it? ProFox is

a no-frills listserve: please remember to supply your own lemonade/whatever.

Does anyone have a count on how many of us how been traumatized for

life, for life I tell you, by being booted off FoxShare?

It used to that having been booted off FoxShare had a certain

distinction, but since the purges continue, it's not nearly so special

anymore. I'd protest to Darcy if I thought it would do any good.

^^^^^

Hey! Watch your language! This is a grown-ups' listserve. (You can

say "shit" if you want to.)

So Darcy has taken up explaining his actions? This is good: He

realizes he can't be a heavy-handed dictator. This is bad: He is justifying

his crimes. Maybe I'll just enter a .null. here.

It has happened before.
