fp dos 2.6 full screen a browse window

Author: John R. Sowden

Posted: 2014-09-05 14:45:18   Link

I am trying to get my browse windows to go full screen when ctrl F10 is

pressed. It used to work, but no more. I am using normal as an

attribute, but I have not used zoom, I don't think. I have heading an

menu off. Not sure about zoom-I can't see the source code now.

Thoughts?

John

Are you sure that CTRL+F10 was not captured by form.keypressed() or

object's keyboard handling?

I just hit <Reply All>, and did NOT deliberately send to both lists.

Was the list manager auto-magically add a "CC:" clause to all Profox messages?

If nobody inserted a "CC:" clause, my <Reply All> would not have used it.

My understanding ... <Reply All> is the issue - simply <Reply> is

sufficient.

Under any of the NT kernel lineage (NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8) it's not

DOS, for a start. It's CMD.EXE, which happens to support MS-DOS

commands.

Secondly the ability to run CMD.EXE in a fullscreen 'text mode' of the

graphic adapter has not been there since XP. So the best you can do is

size the window up to fill the screen.

In other words, drivers adhering to the Windows Display Driver Model

used from Vista onwards cannot support these text-only VGA modes.
