Hi Foxgang
I am sure that under XP you could have long menu's that had arrows on them.
Ok they didn't seem to work unless you used the keys. But I have a situation
where I get only 40 items showing and no arrows. Anyone have a clue why and
a cure?
No combo box ideas, I have menus and it would take too much to change.
TIA
Al

I should have added, these are added to main menus using popup menus

You could always install a start menu replacement!
I wonder if these work on XP?

This sounds vaguely familiar. Maybe search on Foxite to see if you find
a solution.
An alternative would be to reduce the number of items on a menu by
grouping them into sub-menus? FWIW I don't think I'd be able to find
anything on a menu with that many items to choose from. :)

Thanks Frank
First in reply to your mention of not finding what you want. They are in
order so easy to find, and possibly only split in 2 which is a possibility I
will look at. But it looks like this is a bug, and it must be since SP2 I
guess

The message I found on Foxite had encountered this problem in VFP6!

That's odd as not that long ago I had long menu's but they had arrows to
chose to move the menu. But I do not remember when it was as no one has
mentioned this before (users). Also this mentions having a submenu in the
items over 40. So now I am not sure if it is a bug in VFP9 (or since VFP6).
I remember VFP6 had awful bugs in it causing C0..5 errors all over the
place, but I do not remember a menu problem.
