Some excellent stuff in here, I liked:
CmdEr - finally a graphical command prompt for Windows approaching what
you can get in the *nix world.
Listary - A truly amazing and polished search utility that is somewhere
between a launcher and a file manager, both but neither. Listary lives
next to your major file management apps and makes managing their lists
and finding files a breeze.
Anyway you might find something helpful in there.

I think ReSharper is pretty much universally lauded and very widely
used. maybe it was highlighting potential issues that the compiler won't
see, potential memory leaks etc

Probably code errors. Used by thousands of developers and when it first
came out you could look at all M$ code as well.

This one is great if you are working with fetching data from websites
or webservices.
I recently used it to debug some problems I was having with Best
Western's web services (I work in the hotel industry).
Help+Manual - There's few good options for creating Help Files on
Windows but while Help+Manual does cost money, it's a pretty amazing
and complete system.
I use this also.

Yes, nice list indeed. I like to use HeidiSQL for my MySQL/MariaDB
stuff.

No It was grumbling about the choice of names. I didn't realise it was there
and working, or in fact what it did. So I panicked at errors and changed
some but it was too late down the line for changes for the sake of it.
Might have been ok if I realised what it was and used it from the start.

Maybe, It was really I put it on VS not knowing. I changed what I thought
was an error and went downhill from there. I may look at it again with a new
project
