This is way better than solar with a 5-year payback and works morning, noon and night. And since we found a gazillion cubic feet of natural gas in this country, this makes sense until solar becomes practical.

I have read other good reports about fuel cell technology. But we have to
find out if there are any negatives. What is the capacity? I guess the fuel
must be free of contaminants to protect the cell. Then there are problems of
distribution and marketing. They would be nice to have when the power goes
out during storms.

You can sell the electric back to the electric company, which means your actually making money with it since natural gas is cheaper than electric. I also believe there is less loss of natural gas by pipeline than power loss by long transmission lines. It says it creates heat too, which you should be able to harness to heat your house in the winter

It says it creates heat too..." not sure. I went to their website and was
not impressed. It wants my personal information and says a salesman will
call. Sounds fishy.
I would be more comfortable if was documented somewhere - nothing special
about a utube video.

Well I wouldn't want to buy the 1.0 version, that's for sure.

Graphic shows it extracts the hydrogen from the gas molecules to
generate electricity. So, why does it not return the unused gas
molecules to your home grid? Why does it have to burn them to generate
heat? What do we do with excess heat? And in summer?
mmmm......
