Hi Guys,
One of my web-developer kids told me about ShowMyPC. (at www.showmypc.com).
It has a free version, and one you can pay for if you need unattended access.
Runs using TightVNC.
I use it for all of my remote support (just the free version, haven't needed the
pay version yet).

I've used this one before I switched over to join.me. No good reason
other than the join.me was a simpler process for my non-computer customers.

Has anyone mentioned Team Viewer?
It works and is free.

TeamViewer has a free model? I know they have a one-time cost model, or
last I heard.

They do but it is for non-commercial uses.

And it has certain limitations - the free one. I'm not exactly clear on
those limitations - as I continue to use the free one. But, at my job -
they ran into the limitations - and ended up buying a license. It is
something like - if you try to connect to TOO Many different people with
your free version - it thinks you must be a tech support person in a
business. And, then it does these weird time limits - and drops your
connections after reaching limits. Something like that...
