I'd wager that the IQ of the IE users is on average LESS because so many
folks are simply "sheeple" in terms of using whatever came with MS
Windows and not likely to seek out alternatives like techies and some
other power users might be. I wouldn't call them "dumb" though, as the
article title said.

Could you not just admit that ie9 is better than ff ? I had FF for some time
but it became slow to load. I don't like opera or chrome. So I use ie9
because I prefer it.

I downloaded FF5 last night for a friend and was not impressed. It has this
box with messages in which I couldn't see how to remove, messages like 'Be a
Web Hero!' - but I don't want to. Also I couldn't get it to use Google
instead of iGoogle - not impressed.

Oh I made no position about what's better at all...IE9 could be the 2nd
coming of Christ for all I know. I didn't check it out. (I thought you
had to have Win 7 to get IE9?)

I use IE because of the ease of use via OLE. If the others worked like that,
I'd take a look. If they do work with automation, I haven't seen any
examples.

Yes you do need win 7. I took offence at being referred to as less than
intelligent because I use ie. So I was explaining why I use it

Correlation does not imply causality.
Intelligent people understand that. ;-)
