Hello,
Here is my weird problem for the day.
I have a report form that works great as long as PREVIEW is one of the
options.
REPORT FORM PARKLST1 TO PRINTER PROMPT NOCONSOLE PREVIEW
If I remove the PREVIEW option then I get an error:
"Function argument value, type, or count is invalid"
So why does the report work fine if PREVIEW ?
How can I debug this report to find what is causing the error ?

No, I think the printer drive is ok.
The report will print ok from the preview toolbar.
It will also print ok if I issue a BROWSE command right before the REPORT
with no PREVIEW.
Any way to debug a report ?

I would try one or more of the following, testing after each:
-make a backup copy of the FRX first
-PACK the FRX
-nuke the FOXUSER table
-Rename the report and see if that works; rename it back; test
-start yanking fields out of it to see which one might be the problem
child...

Check for variables longer than 10 characters - I know - sounds crazy
but I've seen it crash reports...

Another idea along those lines: Is the "Save printer environment" box
on the Page Layout tab checked? If so, un-check it and try again. Long
shot, but easy to try.

Change the command to:
REPORT FORM PARKLST1 NOCONSOLE TO PRINTER PROMPT PREVIEW
Then remove the Preview to see if it fails

I just tried all your suggestions, with no luck.
I even deleted the objects one at a time.
Very weird because if I preview it works fine.

This report does have several report variables, but none over 6 characters.
I even deleted them and the fields associated, but did not help
