Too many possible reasons. My guess is some wrong-version DLL is getting loaded, like
you are expecting the DLL's in the NAS directory to be loaded, but instead other
versions are being found in c:\Windows\system32.
Or the other way around...

Are you running Windows 7? A recent thread pointed out a problem with
running VFP exes from network shares on VFP 7...

Rick S. -- didn't you say you're running your EXEs from network shares?
I do recall you saying something like you had no problems running VFP
EXEs from Windows 7. Please correct my foggy memory!

XP ... I copied everything over to my C drive & had the same problem. Then I renamed all of the rt support files out of the way and things fired up ok. Of course, vfp9 dev environ is registered correctly on my dev machine. This app makes heavy use of the image control if that matters.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit.
I run VFP 9 EXEs all day long. I also run FPD 2.6 EXEs in Windows XP Mode accessing data on my Win 7 64-bit machine. I
also run apps off our Windows 2003 SBS box.
