Hey - -- -
Remember that little Icon maker that came with the Fox? It came with
VFP 6 or 7, I think. What was it called? "IconEdit"?
I know that there are fancier tools out there, but I liked that thing
for little, quick original icons. When my old computer went to
microchip heaven, I forgot to transfer it to the new box, and only
installed VFP 9.
Anybody willing to send it to me so I don't have to dig through my
"big box o' Fox stuff" and do an install just to get it?
thanks,
Ken

I know you want *that* app.
But have you checked "IcoFX Portable"?
Small, portable (you can carry it in your pen drive), freeware, and
complete. Check it out in the PortableApps page.

Well, since my "Inbox" isn't flooding over with *that* app, I'll check
out *this* one, too.

I coulda sworn it was in the downloads section of Ed's site, but I can't
find it. I've been using the one in Visual Studio.
I will see if I still have the old installation disks for it when I get home
from a gig tonight. I'm thinking it was on VFP5, but could have been 3.

Thanks, Lou, but please don't go through so much work. I could go
through my installation disks, too, but I thought *somebody* in here
might still have it installed and could pop it off to me in 30
seconds.

I've got something on an older computer called "icon edit.exe" (note the
space) in a folder called Icon Suite. Is that it?

Just did a check of my VFP 6.0 archive, not in the installed files. I
looked ImagEdit up, it was part of VFP 5.0.

Oops -- no that isn't it -- Rick is right -- it is ImagEdit. I wonder
if "icon edit.exe" is just a renamed version of it?
