FF 3.0.11

Ugh...getting frustrated. Often the firefox session just "goes away"

and then when I launch it again, it's asking me to restore previous

session or start new one. Even if I start a new one, it still recurs often.

Anyone else having this experience?

Mike - I have had a similar problem before - and its usually a single

webpage that I am on that would be causing the problem. Although, my

solution is usually that when this occurs - I QUICKLY look at the last

tab of a FF window and QUICKLY close it down - assuming that was the

PARTICULAR webpage that actually is causing my problem. Also - ALWAYS

let it re-open my previous sessions - since I am ALWAYS have many, MANY

webpage open for VERY Long extended periods of time - as many of those

pages are things that I need to go back to.=20

Sorry if this isn't much help - as it doesn't really solve your problem.

Since I would assume that if you say Start a NEW session - the problem

should NOT just carry over!

As a guess - maybe you have a particular Add-On to FF that is causing

the problem - and maybe you need to try and kill it out of FF. Although,

not sure if you CAN do that without actually running FF!

First thing I'd say is go to 3.5

Second thing is do you get the same problem running FF in Safe Mode? If

not have you looked at any plugins you have running ?

Try starting FF in safe mode. You should have that option in the default Fi=

refox start menu folder.

Gonna do that.

The common element in my crashes on my MBSS laptop and my Sylvan day PC

are that I'm using LogMeIn on them. Perhaps some element of that? I

think LMI upgraded itself recently.

The LogMeIn add-on does not work in FF 3.5, at least it told me this when I

upgraded the other day. It disabled this add-on.

Hmm...I'm using LMI every day...maybe I WON'T take that 3.5 upgrade

after all!

Thanks for the tip.

The Logmein plugin works OK on 3.5 here. Wonder if they did a quick fix.
