I am populating a table in MySQL with some XML generate from cursortoxml
this works well, but when I have a field with a ' in it the insert into the
mysql fails, what is the correct/best way of handling this so that the
record gets inserted.
TIA
Chris.

Use named private vars:
INSERT INTO MyTable (cfield1,nfield2) VALUES (?pcName, ?pnAge)
