Hi all,

I have to give a 3d object creator/viewer in one of my applications.

Currently, I am evaluating EWDraw from http://www.eastwindsoft.com/.

Anybody else have any other suggestions?

Sincerely,

_Ajit Abraham

The demo has examples in VB,C# etc.

The support guy offered to prepare a sample in VFP.

The installation and form insertion of EWDRAW into VFP had no problems.

Basic creation of boxes, spheres, rotating it in 3D etc thru VFP was

smooth.

By the way, I want to use the activex to prepare wooden cabinets on the

fly. Yes, there are some fantastic cabinet-making softwares available -

but integrating that into my current inventory and accounting system is

a problem. Hence I am exploring ways of doing the cabinet creation

module by myself.

I realised that the real stopover for me, is to learn the 3d aspects of

drawing cabinets programmatically, rather than EWDraw itself.

Anyway, I will keep you updated on my progress if I am finally able to

implement it.

Sincerely,

_Ajit Abraham
