In spite of many letters to Obama's staff mentioning potential problems, the FEC will not investigate because the amounts are too big. They claim that any errors are so small relative to the total that it is not worth the time to investigate. But since McCain took public financing he will be audited and it will cost millions to do so. Pathetic.

So what you're saying is that McCain taking public funding is going to
waste even more money.
Maybe McCain should have been more considerate like Obama and said no to
being subsidised by the tax payers.

Hi Nicholas!
The final insult. However, the FEC could have used VFP to construct the
first version of the database.

Hi Adam!
O-liar made a pact with McCain early on that they would BOTH limit their
funding to the federal maximum, but then O-liar welshed on it.

McCain was too honorable to go back on his word.

So, who is surprised the Ds get a free pass? It could be the decisionmaker at the FEC didn't want to end up like Vince Foster.
