He noted that although both he and Mr. Obama are black, he would not

cast a vote for the Illinois senator on the basis of race. "I will

vote for the individual I think that brings the best set of tools to

the problems of 21st-century America and the 21st-century world

regardless of party, regardless of anything else other than the most

qualified candidate," Mr. Powell said at a news conference before

delivering a speech to about 800 people attending a leadership forum

at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

"Both of them certainly have the qualifications to be the president of

the United States, but both of them cannot be," he said.

Yeah, I saw where Obama is drawing 90% of the black vote. I'm SURE it

doesn't have anything to do with them wanting a "brother" in the house. I

heard one guy, on a local call in show, say he wants Obama to rename the

White House - the Black House. Nope, no racism there. Idiots.

Which proves among Blacks that content of character doesn't matter, only the color of his skin.

Colin Powell would vote for OJ over John McCain.

I'm going to start calling Colin, "colon' from now on. Because he's brown and stinks.

JC Watts and Armstrong Williams reportedly will be voting for the obamanation too.

Some conservatives.

Every time there is an election we each need to choose the candidate that

makes the most sense to us. I'm guessing Colin Powell has had it with the

Bush administration, and is questioning his choice to serve in a Republican

administration after what happened to him as Secretary of State.

I certainly can't blame him.

Ah, yes, that's right - all black people think as one. Colin Powell

is no exception, right?

I'm surprised at how easily character assassination comes to the

radical right.

How stupid.

90% of Blacks vote Democrat. 90% is very close to "all Blacks think as one".

90%? And you are calling me a racist? I'm never surprised at how liberals
