Saw on the news how Libby might face 2.5 years in the slammer for lying
to Congress.
How much do you want to bet that GWB pardons him in the 11th hour just
like Clinton did with Marc Rich?

Hi Michael!
In the light of the fact that the prosecuter knew there was nothing there, the
lying thing seems like entrapment. Bush should have pardoned him Gerald Ford
style, before the investigation even went that far.

That's the whole idea. They put him on the hot seat knowing that the charge is
trumped up but hoping that they can confuse him into "lying".
