Excuse me for saying so, but that's a dumb-ass survey. The choices are:
How do you program in .NET?
* I'm a real programmer and use C++ or C#
* I program in VB.NET. Let's put the rap on C!
* Who needs .NET? VB6 is good enough for me.
* I use Visual FoxPro and so don't need .NET
* I program in Java so stuff your .NET
Of course I use VFP but I also use VB.Net and other stuff. This whole
attitude projected by the survey of one tool is great, stuff the rest is
bogus.

John,
I agree. I program in C++, C#, and VB.NET. But my favorite is still
VFP. So that's how I voted. But I can't believe the bias exhibited by
the questions. Especially the first one (as if programming in C++ or C#
makes you a "real programmer".....)
I always advocate using the right tool for the job.
Take care,
Fletcher

Hi, John!
Oh, I agree completely! The question is "How do you program in .NET?"
and the answers so far are:
C++ C#: 84 votes (17%)
VB.NET: 33 votes, (6%)
VB6: 42 votes, (8%)
VFP: 338 votes (67%)
Java: 11 votes (2%)
So, there's two places to vote Yes to .NET, three places to vote No, no
entries for the other 8 .NET languages like Python.NET, no place to
offer other alternatives like Python, Perl, Ruby, etc. Pretty bogus.
Why would .NET programs come to the MSDevApps forum that supports
Access, VB and Fox? Or the java programmers, either? Beats me.
