The problem with starting out with a TLA is
that people might not know what you are talking
about. To me, at first glance, "RDP" means
"recursive descent parser", but you are apparently referring to something else.
There are other overloaded TLAs:
IDE
Integrated Development Environment
Integrated Drive [later Device] Electronics
RPG
Report Program Generator
Rocket-Propelled Grenade
(Some might say to use the latter if you have to use the former.)
Please expand unusual TLAs when starting a conversation on them.
