As long as human eyes are human eyes, that is never going to change

either. Nor are people over 40 ever going to be able to read your

fashionable 8-point grey-text-on-white-background website unless they

put their face close enough to the screen to get a tan from it. And

every web design expert on the planet will tell you that, and every

over-caffeinated 20-something web "designer" will ignore it and do it

anyway. And 95% of users will think that's just the way it has to be,

and so the bandwagon rattles on and on.

The thing is, used to be, if an idiot designed a vacumn cleaner,

nobody would buy it, and the idiot would starve. But in the software

industry, the idiots reign, and most everybody is afraid to point out

the nudity of the emperor.

Vanity of vanities; all is vanity, said the Teacher..

He probably also said, "Get the $&%*% off my lawn!"
