Most certainly does. We recently switched over to W2008R2 from SBS2003 and

it was pretty much just copy over. Since we used mostly mapped drives, it

was no problem. Other places where we used UNC naming, we did have to

change the server name in the UNC paths we used in code. We put all the

runtimes and dependent files in the application's folder, we didn't even

have to install anything, just copy and done.
