Check the "print repeated items" option in the Print When dialogue

I have a report (a contract) that has the heading information in each record and each record contains lines of the contract. I want the heading information to print only on the first page. I set up a data grouping on the contract id and expected the heading information to print in the group header - like it does on all of my other reports.

Everything prints fine except the group header. The space is there but it is blank.

Done a lot of reports - never seen this before.
