www.LearnVisualStudio.com the best value. A book will run you 25-50

and can only cover so much. The range of HOW TO videos at this site

would require at least 6-15 books. You can get a lifetime membership

for ???, I spent 99.00 many years ago not sure what it is today. It

is great to listen, and hear what is happening as the video

progresses. You also get the videos code as well.

You can put these on an iPad or Zune and use them where ever you are.

Waiting in line at the DMV is a great place to view one because you

have time to kill.

.NET is a pretty BIG animal. You have to decide what part of it you

want to learn. WEB - Local Client. Language you want to code in, C#,

VB, F#, .... Web Services or a Data Access Library. I see 4 possible

books there just to get started. These videos will cover it all

nowadays.

I would steer clear of any VFP add on to .NET paid for or free. Learn

to do .NET and then adapt your skills from your FP background. The

hardest part is trying to make the web act like VFP. Sorry but it is

similar to caring for cats and dogs. They both act differently.
