Hi Michael,

They have to take dollar bills - "legal tender" law. "Save-a-Lot" is a

lot like M$ as in a55holes.

My credit union counts my change for me with a machine for no fee

nowadays. I used to roll up the coins and either the credit union or the

grocery here would take them (at the office) if I was short. They would

just write my name and phone # on the roll.

Waiting for some of the Brits to share experience from across the pond.

Must be some Brits have only coins, from the bellyaching. On the other

hand, the bellyaching was some time ago so maybe . . .
