Hi Everybody,

Dell keyboard has crapped out after only 20 years. Actually, it started

messing up about 8 years ago but I could hit the spacebar and get Linux

to boot so . . .

This morning it had deleted all the messages in my [OT] folder. Good

thing Ed keeps an archive in case I want to refer back to the wisdom of

Bob Calco.

I can't warranty it, I don't have the receipt - dumpster special.

Replaced it with HP #SK2505 from a cannibalized P II that lives embedded

in my "virtual organ". Having a hard time getting used to these three

extra keys, two of which don't do anything in Linux.

I most miss the clicky feel of the Dell. I am a bit miffed after only

getting 20 years out of it, though. What is the world coming to?
