I downloaded the free version to take a look. The files I want to backup are on the ftp server. Explain: I want to copy
files from an ftp server to a local drive. Syncback will backup to a ftp server, but I don't see any way to do the
opposite. On their web site there is no way to contact them (pre-sales question)

Sytze: I use Syncback also (love it BTW) and it sometimes fails on a
system file that is in use and it tells me it failed. When I look at
the log, it tells me that everything was backed up except the files it
failed on. I also verified many times that everything is backed up
except those files. That is fine with me.
YMMV
