I tend to hate any company that has expensive to call phone numbers. Acer

are one. And I had a problem with a new laptop. I had to report them to

trades to get them to replace it. Was not impressed.

I have an Acer mobile phone, after 15 months it packed up while I was in

India. After talking to Acer I had a friend take it to the UK and post it to

their Service Centre. They replaced the main board and battery at no cost.

It was waiting for me when I got back to the UK but unfortunately everything

works EXCEPT the phone function. I called Acer again and they are collecting

it by courier at their expense. So 'A' for effort anyway.
