William,

VFP 9 SP 1 it's working. Checking the help file for VFP 3, shows it existed.

[Form.Init]

THISFORM.Box(10, 20, 20, 30)

That code draws a small square near the upper left of the form when it gets

created.

I thought perhaps it was the INIT of a contained object that might be

causing the problem so moved the code to the INIT of a COMMANDBUTTON. Still

draws the square.
