It does, I have my 4Gb pen with a 2Gb TrueCrypt file and the TrueCrypt
file in the uncompressed area. All my portable apps (office, mozilla,
Thunderbird, Process Explorer, pdf reader, CyberShredder, EssentialPIM,
etc) and sensitive data are in the TrueCrypt drive, the rest in the
non-protected area. Works nice and is easy to use.
Tip, always mount the files in the last letters (Z, Y, X, ...) and in
the same order, then you can have shortcuts in your desktop to the
mounted volumes.
