In a primary between two progressive members of the same party, the differences are relatively trivial compared to the differences between either of them and their eventual opponent in November.
This is why the "silly season in politics", to quote Obama, is an inevitable part of the process. I don't particularly care for it, but it should be over by next Tuesday. I will be happy to vote for either of them in November.
