Hi, Christof -- -- - - --
I didn't know about either of those things, but IMO they prove my point: regular users don't know how to do either. Heck, they don't even know that all of these files are out there at all. How about:
1. A "Clean up my system" button somewhere? Gets rid of this stuff (+ internet cache + cleans out OL or OLE deleted messages, etc.)
2. Better yet: delete temp files automatically on shutdown or restart.
3. Best: make sure programs don't leave crap around in there in the first place.
