I really don't mean to come off as anti-VFP or somehow "better" because I've chosen not to use it for new development. VFP is an amazing environment to produce killer apps in, and I miss it dearly!
It is only stale because of its steward, not because of the incredible community of dedicated professionals surrounding it.
