I guess that is indeed what it boils down to. Docstrings for methods and
properties would be developer-oriented. Messages to the user would be
user-oriented.
A quick guesstimate is that over 95% of our strings are meant for the
developer and not the user.
Given that my estimate is in the ballpark, does it make sense to
translate everything or just the user messages?
I also think we need to run some tests to see what Rosetta does in the
following situation:
1) original .pot file uploaded
2) translation to a docstring occurs, and downloaded into Dabo's
repository and the .po and .mo are committed.
3) that docstring is changed in the Dabo source.
4) .pot file regenerated and uploaded to Rosetta
At this point, does Rosetta somehow tag that docstring as needing
review, since the English version changed, or is it going to be really
easy for translations to drift?
