There are two types of solutions: those that are generic enough to build into Dabo, and those that address particular installations.
For us to include something in Dabo, it has to work for most plain- vanilla setups for Mac, Windows and Linux. Obviously, each platform might have its own details in carrying this out, and Dabo can choose based on platform. I just tried 'lpr' on my Mac, and it works fine. Text files come out in a large, default Monaco font, but pdfs and graphics look fine.
