Sounds like you've answered your own question.
TN will return a Republican senator to Bill Frists's seat and we may even have a majority of Republicans in the state house for the first time in many years. Republicans will do well this mid-term, as they should. The economy is clicking along nicely, gas prices are down, both houses of congress have passed legislation to secure the Mexican border and we haven't been attacked since 9/11.

Oh, the agony. To have to choose between a ****** and a D! We have the similar problem here. The guy who won the R nomination in our district is a criminal, but if the Rs loose control of congress we have Gun Control, Abortion, Surrender in Iraq - indeed a general groveling before the 'slims and crazy taxes.
